2014  MISSION REPORT

Picture
  • Praise the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Once again, this year by the grace of Jesus, our mission trip to Haiti was a big success. We flew from New York, JFK, to Haiti on July 16 aboard Delta Airline. Our first stop was Petit-Goâve.  There, we had the opportunity to visit several penitentiaries and one adult mental hospital.   Thanks to God, we fed and clothed the disadvantaged members of these facilities. Then, we visited the Apostolic Church in Viallet where we preached the gospel of Jesus Christ and we held different conferences for Christian leaders and church members.  More than a dozen of lost souls surrendered their lives to Christ.
  • Three days after our arrival, we traveled to Anse-a-Veau to our groundwork at Moinsard.  Moinsard is the locality that God has inspired our leader to establish our first sister church.
  • Our missionaries  spent ten days in Anse-a-Veau. During that time, we had a crusade in which we reached the maximum capacity every night. We also had the opportunity to hold a conference for the Christian leaders and a one for the youth with Pastor Wis A. Dorvil. During our mission, 52 people gave their lives to God. There were three weddings, five dedications, and ten water baptisms. Additionally, we gave $450 (Haitian money) to five different people to start five individual small businesses.
  • Twenty-two young people learned CPR and first aid.  At Anse-a-Veau, we fed and clothed the population.  Additionally, the Lord has helped us in equipping  this locality with a solar system and a generator to provide much needed electricity.
